Certification Exams
DataLakeHouse exams are proctored.
Currently one exam is available but we are planning for a total of four (4) exams, to cover the different areas of proficiency:
- Architect
- Business Value Lifecycle
- Developer
- Business Analyst
DataLakeHouse Developer
This exam looks at the architecture of DataLakeHouse, how to organize, store data, ingest from different sources, use streaming data, modifying the out-of-the-box data integration, basic data modeling, and source control.
DataLakeHouse Business Analyst
This exam covers the role of a business analysts and data scientist reviewing topics of data discovery, using notebooks for analysis, data visualization, and achieving a data model lifecycle request to completion validation process.

Get prepared for your DataLakeHouse Certification Exam
DataLakeHouse Developer
This exam looks at the architecture of DataLakeHouse, how to organize, store data, ingest from different sources, use streaming data, modifying the out-of-the-box data integration, basic data modeling, and source control.
We recommend having worked with DataLakeHouse for 6+ months for the necessary experience with these skills before registering for this exam.
DataLakeHouse Business Analyst
This exam covers the role of a business analysts and data scientist reviewing topics of data discovery, using notebooks for analysis, data visualization, and achieving a data model lifecycle request to completion validation process.
We recommend having worked with DataLakeHouse for 3+ months before registering for this exam.

Getting Registered for Your Exam
A few steps to glory in the world of data delivering business value
What to do to get registered:
We use the very popular Webasseessor to proctor and managed our exam distribution. This is the same group that handles the GCP, AWS certifications exams, so we feel good about their oversight of DataLakeHouse certifications and we’re in good company. So to get registered:
- Determine if you’ll be taking the exam online or at the proctor facility
- Make sure you have a Webassessor account or create a new one.
- Login to your Webassessor account and click on Register for an Exam
- Find the exam you want to take and expand the section to view the options
- Click the Buy Now button for the delivery method option you want
- Follow the prompts to Schedule You Exam (review all policies and scheduling considerations)
- Make sure the exam details are correct then click “Checkout” (enter any voucher/coupon) and/or your credit card
- Click the Submit button
- Check your email for a purchase confirmation and exam scheduling confirmation.
That’s it you’ll be all set and registered for the exam following the instructions above. If you don’t receive an email confirming your registration wait for up to 24 hours and revist the portal if needed.

What you need to know about the certifications process
Languages Available
Currently the exams are only available in English.
Exam Candidate Agreement
All exam takers will need to agree to the terms and privacy policy. This will be on the screen for you to accept right before you begin the proctored exam.
Special Considerations
If you have any special needs or considerations (ex: visually impaired, etc.) then please contact before scheduling your exam. We will handle each special consideration request on a case by case basis. We may request supporting documentation. Special considerations could also push out your intended date for scheduling the exam for us to handle your accommodations. So please prepare with a minimum of 30 days from time of submitting your request and the actual date desired to take the exam.
Retake Policy
Retakes are 30 days after your exam where you did not pass. You must register and pay again any respective fees. Be sure to study the materials and re-study any areas where you believe you may need improvement.
Only three attempts of passing the exam will be allowed in a 12-month period.
We encourage everyone to take part in the community and view all training, videos, blogs, and learning materials prior to taking the exams but especially if you do not pass on the first attempt.
Certificate Holder Logo/Badge
Passing your certification exam entitles you to a badge that validates and shows the world that you have completed the DataLakeHouse exam.

Exam Registration
You must be 18 years or older to be eligible for any certification exam.
